Submerged geomembranes
Revolutionizing Leak Detection without Draining
Innovative Approach to Submerged Geomembranes
ELIS has revolutionized the field of Submerged Geomembranes Leak Detection with its cutting-edge eLagoon aquatic drone. This innovative robot is specially designed to operate in highly acidic and alkaline environments, delivering unparalleled performance in detecting leaks down to depths of 6 meters with an accuracy of up to 1 meter. The eLagoon drone embodies a leap forward in leak detection technology, addressing the significant challenges traditionally faced in such tasks.
Eliminating Traditional Challenges
Traditionally, leak detection in submerged geomembranes required extensive site preparation, including the draining of liquids which led to substantial downtime and increased costs. The eLagoon drone eliminates these burdens through its ability to operate in nearly any liquid environment—be it water reservoirs, wastewater treatment plants, tailings ponds, or liquid landfills—without the need for draining or significant human intervention.
eDipole’s Submerged Capabilities
Utilising integrated RTK GPS mapping, the system logs survey data at 1-metre intervals per second, generating a precise 1m × 1m grid of the tested area. This ensures highly accurate, fully traceable results across submerged installations.
The eDipole can accurately survey through depths of up to 500mm while maintaining consistent data resolution and detection sensitivity.
All of our equipment complies with ASTM Standards D7007-25 and
D8265-23.
